coaching since Spring 2019
Julie is currently a graduate student in Biology at MIT as well as the President of the MIT Triathlon Club. She’s been a competitive athlete since high school and loves participating in swimming, running, and cycling races. Being part of a sports team has been pivotal in teaching Julie about discipline, confidence, and perseverance in both times of success and failure.
Julie is excited to coach at Title IX and help mentor girls. She went to an all-girls high school that emphasized the importance of female empowerment, social justice, and giving back to others. Being surrounded by female leaders and peers in her formative years helped shape Julie to be the person that she is today. Julie is thrilled to be part of an amazing community that emphasizes both mental and physical health.
Outside of work and athletics, Julie enjoy cooking, traveling and being outside.
